My kids and I made this the other day and they loved it! Best of all, it was quick, cheap, and easy.
- 120 mL white glue
- 120 mL water
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1/2 tsp borax
- food colouring
First, measure out your glue.
Next, add in the 120 mL of water.
Stir, then add in your choice of food colouring.
In a small bowl, combine the borax and hot water, stir until dissolved.
Combine both mixtures and stir.
Stir until it all sticks together. You might need to use your hands at the end to combine it all.
Divide equally among eager children and have them stretch, mold, squish, smush, squeeze and otherwise manipulate it. Just don’t let them eat it. 😛
I also came across another recipe with even fewer ingredients. I haven’t tried this one myself, but if you do, let me know how it works! Just combine 2 parts white glue to 1 part liquid starch, and add colouring!
