Something is being knit in our family, and it’s not me who is doing the knitting!
We’re excited to announce that we are expecting a new member to the family, around the end of June or early July.
I’ve totally forgotten to keep up with the Rain of Blessings. I left off at Day 8! Oops!
Day 9: I’m thankful for our car. Yes, it’s cramped, and we don’t have a lot of room for when we go grocery shopping, but we can all fit in it, and it’s dependable. Plus, we have a car. Even though we say it’s a requirement because we live out in the country, not everyone out here has one.
Day 10: My hubby loves the Lord!
Day 11: Even in our hardest times financially, we have never wondered how we will eat, or where we would live.
Day 12: For our health. While my first son was born with a kidney problem, he was only sick once, and hasn’t been bothered by it since. We don’t even have to go get it checked any more! That’s the only real health issue our family has had to face. Praise God!
Day 13: I’m thankful for Tobi. With his passionate personality and quick mind, I know God can and will use him for great things.
Day 14: I’m thankful for Annabel. She has a beautiful spirit and a true servant’s heart.
Day 15: I’m thankful for Josiah. He’s so fun to watch as he learns new things, and always has a smile waiting.
Day 16: I’m thankful for the seasons where we live. Yes, we complain about the cold and snow..but I think I’d miss a whole winter without any snow, and it makes me appreciate spring and summer all the more! (God, please keep your protective hands around Louis as he drives to and from work every day in the snow, when it comes!)
Day 17: I’m thankful for my friends. True friends. Not everyone has people they can count on in the hard times.
Day 18: I’m thankful for my kitchen sink. We have clean, safe water whenever we need it, just a few feet away. A huge percentage of the world doesn’t.
What to check out more blessings? Go see what Our Out of Sync Life is thankful for this month!
What are you thankful for?
Here are my rain of blessings for the last few days!
Day 4: I’m thankful for my hubby’s job. And thankful that he works with some pretty fabulous people who are very understanding if he ever has to leave cause we need the car to take the kids to the Dr. or something.
Day 5: I’m thankful for my children. Need I say more?
Day 6: I’m thankful for my church, and the fact that we are able to openly go to church.
Day 7: I’m thankful for the mistakes I’ve made, because I’ve (hopefully) learned from them.
What are you thankful for today?
