My son just turned 3 last weekend, and I’ve been wanting to start some preschool work with him. I think I’ll start in the new year with some actual planned crafts and activities that focus on alphabet, numbers, colours, etc., and while I was searching for some good homeschooling blogs I came across this amazing looking site. It’s called 1+1+1=1 and it has FANTASTIC ideas for homeschooling younger kids (older kids too, I’m sure..I just haven’t looked at that part of the site yet since my kids are young.)
I think I’m going to be busy this Christmas holiday getting things ready for Tobi! I know there’s no rush, but now that I’ve found some of these great ideas, I can’t wait to get started…Can you tell I’m already a bit cabin-fevered?
I already made him a reusable ABC workbook, which I’ll photo and post later..he had so much fun with it yesterday and did a good job identifying letters.
Tobi just woke up so I need to end this post, but if I totally recommend this site if you’re homeschooling or planning to start homeschooling.
