Yes, I know, that’s the whole part of having a garden, but I’m a COMPLETE amateur when it comes to all the green thumb stuff. We moved here in May, and I had to dig my garden plot from scratch, so things got started a bit late. I planted a bunch of lettuce, peas, beans, zucchini and radishes from seeds, and some tomatoes and peppers from plants. I wasn’t really expecting to succeed with the seed vegetables, but sure enough, sprouts started appearing!
I actually had to go online to find out how to tell when radishes were ready to harvest, but yesterday we got 4 radishes! I’m a bit pleased that I managed to grow something, and my son had fun when he realized he was actually allowed to pull up a few plants (even though he didn’t really want anything to do with them while they had dirt on them.)
