This is one of those posts that I thought I had published MONTHS ago, and then realized that had never happened when I went back looking for it. Oops!
I made some of these homemade essential oil air fresheners for Christmas gifts (I told you…months ago) and I thought I would share a quick tutorial on how to make them. They’re super easy to make and are sure to please.
Here’s what you need!
All you need to do is put some baking soda into the jar and add several drops of your favourite essential oil. Cut a circle of fabric, cheesecloth, or scrapbooking paper to fit over the lid of the jar, and secure using the screw band. I used pinking shears to prevent the fabric from fraying. Use the sewing needle to poke several holes in the fabric or paper. Give a gentle shake to release the aroma into the air!
I used Peace and Calming for this one, but Purification, Citrus Fresh, and Lavender are just a few other great options.
Do you have a favourite essential oil DIY or gift idea? I’d love to hear about it!
