Life is finally starting to settle down a little bit since we’ve moved and I have time to knit again! Even if it’s sometimes with a sleeping baby on me…
I finished a couple of dishcloths that I’d started quite a while ago and decided to do a small shawl next. I need to use up some (lots) of yard before I can justify spending on any more. The dishcloths are made with Knit Picks CotLin yarn using the rib and welt pattern found here.
The pattern I’m using for the shawl is called Birch Bark Canoe, which is free on Ravelry. I’ve only just begun so there isn’t much to see yet but I think the pattern pictures look lovely.
I am using slightly larger needles than the pattern calls for (I’m using 4mm.) I’m using Knit Picks’ Stroll yarn in Everglade Heather.
I also just saw a great idea on a FB knitter’s group for using your planner to keep track of your knitting and crochet projects! This could be easily altered to keep track of any type of project you’re working on. The original idea can also be found on Instagram here.
What are you working on? I’d love to hear about it!
