I was sent a copy of this year’s planner for review as well!
This daily planner is full of useful features, as well as encouraging quotes and Scriptures. What more could a Christian homeschooling Mom ask for?
The planner is divided into several sections, separated by easy to use tabs. You’ll find sections for the Year, Months, Weeks, Tasks, Projects, Info, and Shopping. Each section has lots of room for notes.
The year category has full year calendars for both 2015 and 2016 and ample room to list special events and dates to remember for each month.
The Months section has 2-page layout of each month, as well as the previous and future months in a min-calendar. There is space for lots of notes.
The Weeks section is very well laid out. There is a tasks list area, and each day of the week has several lines to organize your day with, as well as a menu planning area. One of my favourite “extra” features of the planner is the plethora (yep..I was just looking for an excuse to use that word!) of Bible verses and encouraging quotes throughout.
The Tasks and Projects sections have pages and pages of lined paper for all of your note-taking and brainstorming needs. And finally, the shopping lists! Each page has 3 rip-out lists. I love these! I know many people use their phones but I have an el cheapo phone that I barely remember to check for texts, let alone think to use for making my shopping lists on. I like paper lists.
As with last year, I am totally impressed with this year’s Homemakers’ Friend Planner. It’s the perfect size for putting in your bag or purse and very well laid out to help us manage our busy lives. 🙂Disclaimer: I received a free planner to review. I was not obligated to provide a positive review.
