Connie over at Smockity Frocks has started a challenge. For 30 days straight, commit to following Ephesians 4:29 strictly.
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
Eph. 4:29 NKJV
I’m ashamed to admit that the words that have been coming out of my mouth lately have not been according to this verse. I’ve been frustrated and snappy, with the odd cuss-word muttered under my breath here and there when things go wrong.
So, I thought that taking part in this challenge would probably be a good idea! May the Lord forgive my unwholesome words, and may He help me to take control of my tongue.
Instead of speaking negatively, I need to focus on building up my kids and my husband.

How did you do today? I had to stop myself mid-sentence a few times, and I am EXHAUSTED tonight after thinking about every word!
I think I did OK…There were a couple more challenging moments, and I ended up sending my son to his room so we could both cool down instead of saying things we’d both regret. It is hard thinking of everything you say
Now for day 2…
