As some of you might have noticed from my Facebook posts, I’ve been thinking of switching to cloth diapers. Since I stay at home and I don’t bring in much of an income (really just a few dollars here and there from my Etsy shop or blog income) I try to save money where I can. Sometimes I manage to do this, other times I can give in to temptation and end up spending when I shouldn’t. But I figure that cloth diapers are a good way to save money, even if we only use them part-time.
As I’ve been researching cloth diapers, I noticed this wet/dry bag. It has one large pocket for wet or dirty diapers, and a dry pocket for clean spare diapers. This would also make a great bag for swimsuits in the summer! This bag also has a nice price tag to go with it. $30! I tried to find a tutorial on how to make it but couldn’t. I ended up finding lots of tutorials for making a plain wet bag, so I used those and then improvised (with some trial and error and making good use of my seam ripper) and was able to make one! Yea, I’m a bit proud of myself.
My bag is about 12.5 inches by 15 inches. Sorry for the blurry pictures; I think my camera lens has fingerprints on it, and I was rushing while taking the pictures.
