I was really excited to be able to review a Baby Bond Nursing Sash. Why is it different than other nursing covers? This one only covers the mom! It’s like making any shirt into a nursing shirt. On some of the hotter days this summer when I had to cover Josiah up to feed him in public, I felt horrible when he’d finish and I’d uncover him to find him all red and sweaty.
Plus, it’s just nice for baby and mom to be able to look at each other when baby is eating (the rare times I actually CAN look down instead of constantly keeping an eye on and correcting the other two while I’m immobile on the couch. When I have to get up WHILE feeding Josiah to correct them, they know they’ve gone too far! But I digress.)
I picked the Couture model to try. It’s the only model of the 3 available that works with shirts that you nurse from underneath; most of my shirts aren’t loose enough at the top to nurse from the top. It took me a few tries to get the hang of opening it up just enough to get baby latched on without showing too much skin, but overall it’s very simple to use.
There are several helpful videos on the BabyBond site to help you learn to use each of their product models. Now the main thing I need to be careful about is that Josiah likes to grab the sash and pull it down, revealing all too much skin! (Fortunately, he’s only done this while we’re at home..so far.)
Baby Bond has generously offered to give away 1 of their products to one of you! This giveaway will end September 26. Can’t wait? Use the coupon code CHRISTIAN to get 25% off your order at Baby Bond!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
