I saw this photo on Pinterest and thought, Wow…That’s such great advice.
After all, how often do we do act on our emotions only to regret it later? For me, this happens most often when more than one child is crying or having a “crisis” of some sort at the same time, especially if I’m already tired.
When this happens, my fuse is short, and, more often than I’d like to admit, I lose my cool and yell at the kids. Five minutes later, what the kids were doing is all over, and I find myself having to ask forgiveness from a 3 and 2 year old. Yelling at the kids is definitely a permanently stupid way to handle a temporary situation.
