Tobi is 38 months and Annabel is 21 months
This past week we focused on the letter K, the memory verse “Keep your tongue from evil,” and the sight word “and”. Tobi really impressed me! By Tuesday, he had memorized the verse. Now we’re working on putting it into practice more. 🙂
We took a lot of material from 1+1+1=1’s Raising Rock Stars Preschool curriculum last week (and I’ve printed off lots for next week too!)
The kids played a lot with the new (well, used) leapfrog alphabet set my mom had also given them the weekend before. I loved how well they played with each other, and Tobi tried teaching Annabel her letters several times.
If you’re wondering about why all the new things, we never saw my mom over Christmas so when we saw her and the rest of that side of the family that weekend, the kids got their Christmas gifts in February!
We worked on our new and past sight words with our magnet letters. I wrote his sight words on small pieces of cardstock (upper case on one side, lower case on the reverse) and he finds the magnet letters that match.
We did several puzzles, including Tobi’s new Thomas puzzle that he got as a late Christmas gift from my aunt, I think. Once again he impressed me by being able to do it on his own very quickly…the largest puzzle he’s completed on it own yet.
