We had a pretty laid back week this week. I was tired the first couple of days since Louis and I had colds, then Tobi was sick Tuesday night so we didn’t really do much on Wednesday. So we really just did small things here and there.
We focused on the letter I this week, and reviewed the same memory verse (Psalm 27:1a) as last week since Tobi hadn’t gotten too much of a grasp on it. I need to find verses that I can add actions to I think as he seems to be getting bored of them.
Tobi did some letter tracing and he worked in his shapes and colours notebook. We got a new alphabet poster that I found at the dollar store and he had a lot of fun Friday evening pointing out letters, and would have me name random ones for him to find. He surprised me in how many he was able to find easily (though he still wasn’t sure of the letter I lol.)
We did a couple of crafts; I is for ice cream (sorry, I didn’t get a photo of it), and I is for igloo. He had lots of fun making the igloo one, though he didn’t understand to leave the door open for the eskimos to get in.
Annie had fun with the pom poms too, and she did lots of puzzles. She surprised me several weeks ago by pulling out the farm animal puzzle and doing it by herself (since there are no background pictures on it and the shape of the holes is slightly different than the pieces since they have a dent taken out to grab the pieces.) She likes the alphabet puzzle but it’s so big that she only does 4 or 5 pieces at a time, then will go back to it later.
