And another week of pantry and freezer eating is over! We managed (barely) to stay under the $50 budget last week, but we had to stock up on some things.
We were out of cheese, so bought 2 bricks on sale. We also ran out of margarine so bought a huge tub for $8..usually we get the smaller ones but with baking more lately we’ve been running out often. We had to get tortillas and lettuce and tomatoes for tacos as well. We only bought one loaf of bread (I made a loaf as well) and otherwise I think we just got milk and fruit. We spent I think $48 and something cents this past week. Why didn’t we think of this sooner?

M- Tuna casserole
T- Mac and cheese with ground beef
W- Steak and mixed veggies with a pasta sidekick
Th- Fish and chips
S- Grilled cheese and soup
