I’m officially in the second trimester, 14 weeks pregnant!
Really, the first trimester wasn’t too bad; not as bad as my first two pregnancies. The morning sickness hit me much later, and though it was more severe than ever before, it only lasted a couple of week instead of the whole 3 months. So that’s a huge blessing, especially now that I’m keeping up with 2 toddlers! According to a pregnancy calender online, the baby is now about 4 inches from crown to rump, and weighs about 1.5 ounces.
I must admit, I’m paranoid with the fear that it might be twins. I’m a twin, and so have a greater chance of carrying twins. Plus, I just feel like I’m bigger than I should be at this stage. I know, it’s most likely just one in there…I tend to just be a worrier.
I have my next appointment this Friday, and one of my great friends will be coming to watch the kids so I can go by myself! I should be able to book my ultrasound after this appointment. I want to try to not find out the gender, but we’ll see how my resolve is when the time comes.
My kids are up and hungry, so I’d better go make breakfast! Hope all my Canadian readers had a great Thanksgiving weekend!
