3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one’s youth.
5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them;
They shall not be ashamed,
But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.
God has decided to bless our family with a new little one! We found out on Tuesday that I’m expecting! I’m about 4 weeks along, and due April 13th (according to online calculators.)
Every time I try to explain to my son that there’s a baby in my tummy, he gets all serious and informs me, “Mama, you’re not a baby…You’re not a baby, Mama!” Too funny!
Now, the next 9ish months will be focused on finding a van for our family. We’ll need to find something fairly inexpensive yet still reliable, so please keep up in your prayers that God will provide. I also want to get my son potty-trained before baby arrives. If I can help it, I’d like to avoid 3 in diapers! Especially since Tobi will be well over 3 at that time. I’m just concerned that if he trains too close to the baby being born, that he’ll regress.
